Real Madrid will kick off this Wednesday, April 29, the EuroLeague playoff against Hapoel Tel Aviv. And they will do so at the Movistar Arenawhere they closed the regular phase of the competition with a new record: the highest number of home victories. Scariolo’s team won 18 out of 19 home games, two more than Olympiacos and Valencia Basket. Our team has turned the Palacio into an almost impregnable fortress, boasting a streak of 14 consecutive home wins and nearly 5 months of unbeaten competition since November of last year.

The Madrid team finished the regular phase with the best home record in the competition (18-1), one of the keys to securing home-court advantage in the playoffs. During these 18 victories, they averaged 92.7 points scored and 79.4 points conceded, with an average point difference of 13.3. Additionally, they reached the 100-point mark on four occasions (107 against Dubai Basketball, 106 against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, 103 against Crvena Zvezda, and 100 against Zalgiris).
