The game began with Scariolo’s men being more accurate on offense, especially causing damage from inside. Maledon and Lenboth with 3 points, also contributed offensively, enabling our team to close the period with a three-point lead (18-15, min. 10).
Parity Before Halftime
Real Madrid increased the scoring pace at the start of the second quarter. Abalde and Procidawith two three-pointers, and Maledonwith a 2+1, stretched the lead to ten points in just over a minute. However, Río Breogán responded with their three-point shooting, led by Cook, and closed the gap to within two points. Hezonja and Llull answered back to maintain a slim madridista lead (46-43, min. 20).
